The District of Columbia English as a Second Language was founded in 2004. DCESL is licensed by the Education Licensure Commission of the District of Columbia. Many of the School's staff are members of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. The school trains diplomats, government and military officials, business executives, development specialists, university and college students, medical personnel, lawyers, judges, economists, and their families.v

International 6/12 week Course. Comprehensive 12 week course designed to meet the needs of students who would like to come here to the US to study English. Classes are 2-3 hours a day 5 days a week and transportation to and from class is
provided if held off-site. Housing provided.
