John Hopkins University was founded in 1876 as America's first research university. The university enrolls nearly 20,000 full-time and part-time students on three major campuses in Baltimore, one in Washington, D.C., one in Montgomery County, Md., and facilities throughout the Baltimore-Washington area and in China and Italy.
Participants:
Summer Intensive English as a Second Language. The full-time program provides over 22 hours of classroom instruction per week. Morning core courses in listening/speaking and reading/writing help you to “fit in” the lab, office, or college classroom. Specialized afternoon and evening courses enable you to “stand out” when taking the TOEFL, discussing American culture through film, or making medical presentations. Testing before and advising throughout the five week term guarantee placement in classes that meet your needs and interests. For part-time study, you may select one or two courses to polish your skills and enhance your career, or just enjoy yourself.
Tuition
The tuition for the full immersion program, which includes three classes, is $2,300. There is also a chance to select only one or two courses for tuition of $795 per course.
