The UND was founded in 1883. today, the UND is one of only 47 public universities in the nation with both accredited graduate schools of law and medicine. The University enrolls 12,748 students. Undergraduate education is offered in 202 fields of study and 2,938 courses.

Participants:

English as a Second Language (ESL) Resource Center is open about 10 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters (closed for the summer), with the schedule varying each semester. The Program is sponsored by the English Department. English language book resources, including works on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary building, reading skills, writing skills, and pedagogy, are available to be checked out. International students who would like to work on their English language skills can also sign up for tutoring. The number of volunteer tutors is limited, so there is a waiting list for this free tutoring service.  

The ESL Resource Center offers English tutoring for international students. These sessions can be arranged to fit any schedule. Tutoring is free – there is no cost associated with this service.
