Brigham Young University–Idaho

83460 525 South Center St.
(208) 496.2411

Brigham Young University-Idaho was founded in 1888. Associate degrees offer students specialization in a major field of study along with a carefully selected curriculum of general education. Specialized bachelor's degrees focus on a specific discipline, while integrated bachelor's degrees allow students to incorporate other related fields of study into their chosen major. BYU-Idaho's vast academic offerings are spread across six colleges: Agriculture and Life Sciences; Business and Communication; Education and Human Development; Language and Letters; Performing and Visual Arts; Physical Sciences and Engineering. Approximately 12,000 students attend BYU-Idaho, hailing from all 50 states and more than 60 countries. The campus includes about 40 major buildings and residence halls on over 400 acres. The school received accreditation to offer degrees at the fouryear level by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities

ESL is an English development program for students with English as a second language who have met the TOEFL requirements for BYU-Idaho. Students who are non-native speakers of English can receive extra help in the Reading Center. The English as a Second Language, located in the Reading Center, is designed to help students improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Students can get individual help with such things as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary building, and listening comprehension. This program is only available to students who have been accepted to BYU-Idaho.

Tuition: $ 264 per credit hour
