The SCU offers 56 majors, 51 minors and 9 pre-professional programs on its vibrant, scenic campuses in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Plus, the School’s partnership with neighboring colleges and universities through the Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities gives St. Kate’s students 36 additional majors from which to choose. St. Catherine University is an accredited institution through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The total enrolment to the school is 5,201 students. In 2008, the school was ranked by US News and World Report as #14 among Regional Universities-Masters level.

Participants:

English as a Second Language program – specific English courses for students who are non-native speakers of English. The program helps students develop the language skills necessary to succeed academically at St. Kate’s. Depending on the results of the MELAB, TOEFL, or St. Catherine University English Proficiency or Placement Test, non-native speakers may be required to take some of the classes listed below. These credit-bearing courses count towards the 130 credits required for graduation. In addition, English as a second language courses: Oral Communication for College; Immigrant Perspective in Literature; Written Communication for College; Grammar in Writing; English for Cross-Cultural Nursing.
