UALR is a public, metropolitan university with 12,000-plus full and part-time students. It includes six colleges and the Bowen School of Law. UALR offers more than 100 programs of study, it has an academic program to suit your interests – and an equal number of social and service organizations as well. School is a part of the University of Arkansas System since 1969. It hosts students from 62 foreign countries.
Participants:
English as a Second Language. All of the classes integrate listening, speaking, reading, writing, culture, grammar, and pronunciation. Students work on these areas for 20 hours each week, including 2 hours of laboratory work. Following are program’s levels: Foundations of English, Intermediate English; Pre-university English/TOEFL Preparation. Upon completion of the IELP, students may be accepted into an undergraduate program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock without a TOEFL score.

$3,800.00/ semester ( Includes: Placement testing, University-required medical insurance, immigration assistance, access to Ottenheimer Library, UALR Clinic, all computer labs, the Donaghey Student Center (aerobics, weight room, indoor and outdoor sports, Olympic-sized swimming pool, and tennis courts), and advisement to UALR)
