The Portland campus of Everest College was established in 1955. At Everest College you can earn diplomas and associates degree within 18 months. Upon completion of a course of 9 months or more, international students can work legally in the United States for 12 months. Our staff will help you with the process of obtaining an Optional Practical Training (OPT) Visa.

Participants:

Intensive English. Studying English in the Intensive English Program means focusing on individual language skills in the morning and focusing on communication skills in the afternoon. This program prepares students for using English at work and in American college or university. The Program improves student’s English skills in Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, Listening, Speaking & Pronunciation; ability to communicate; obtain a high level of English in a short amount of time; feel comfortable in an American style classroom. 

The program consists of:
- 20 Hours of ESL Classroom Instruction; 
- 3 Hours study in the Language Lab; 
- 5 hours of additional activities (optional).

Intensive TOEFL. The Program helps to master the TOEFL iBT Test, achieve the TOEFL score that you want, improve your English skills in Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, Listening, and Speaking & Pronunciation; quickly improve your ability to communicate; obtain a high level of English in a short amount of time.

The program consists of:
- 10 hours of TOEFL iBT preparation; 
- 10 hours of focused language skills; 
- 3 hours study in the Language Lab; 
- 5 hours of additional activities (optional)
