La Salle University was established in 1863. The total University student body is around 7,550 students. Students come from 44 states and 27 foreign countries. La Salle offers 41 undergraduate majors, 15 minors, 13 graduate programs, including a doctoral program in clinical psychology, and 37 certificate programs. Majors and certificates are organized into three schools, Arts and Sciences, Business, and Nursing and Health Sciences, and one college, Professional and Continuing Studies. Average class size is 20 students. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The La Salle University ESL Plus Program actively seeks ambitious students from all over the world who are interested in improving their academic English skills while earning college credit. 

ESL Plus at La Salle University is designed for non-native English speakers who have a desire to further their education with a degree from an accredited U.S. university. Qualified students are conditionally accepted into their program, provided that they successfully complete all admission criteria.
