Wheeling Jesuit University was founded in 1954. It is the youngest of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. The English Language Institute formerly known as the Lado English Language Institute is a language school where students from all over the world come to learn English.

English Language Institute. Class sessions are ongoing, year-round. Students may begin at any time. There are 6 levels of study and additional TOEFL Preparation, Reading and Writing Labs.

Tuition per 4 week session (The tuition at the ELI covers 25 hours of instruction per week plus 1.5 hours of TOEFL preparation, one weekly 1.5 hour pronunciation class. The total number of hours offered in the classroom is 28 per week.) - $900
