Established in 1848, the University is the flagship campus of the University of Wisconsin System. The Intensive English Program provides quality instruction in English to adults who wish to improve their proficiency in English. It offers full-time 15-week programs in the fall and spring semesters and an 8-week program in the summer. Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes meet in in a variety of buildings across campus in regular classrooms, smart classrooms (rooms with Internet access and audiovisual equipment) and language labs.

- read efficiently and quickly
- become confident in your English
