The IEI's Intensive English Program is an academic program designed for: students who want to develop skills they'll need in undergraduate and graduate programs in US universities, and for those, who want to build English skills for their professional career. The program has 6 levels of proficiency from basic to advanced and students attend class 20 hours a week. Class size is small with an average of 12-15 students. The IEI offers instruction in the fall semester (August- December), and spring semester (January to May). A shorter eight week summer session is offered June through August.

The IEI special contract programs are designed for university and other groups of students, teachers, scholars, and professionals with specific needs. Programs typically run for three to four weeks, for eight weeks, or for an entire academic semester. Some sample programs that we have provided for groups in the past are: conversation and culture, business communication, teacher training and development, academic English for specific fields of study
