SOLEX College is a post-secondary, degree-granting institution that offers pre-license, certificate and associate degree programs designed to educate students for technical or occupational careers or to enhance pre-existing vocational knowledge. SOLEX Computer Academy was launched in 1995 as a private for-profit business and vocational school focused on delivering hands-on training in information technology, and was authorized to operate through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), Accountability Division, Private Business and Vocational Schools unit.

Intensive English Program is designed to help students improve their English language skills by giving the intense training in skills such as reading, writing, listening, speaking, conversation and grammar. Each class is taught by a qualified, skilled, and native or near-native English speaking instructor. Activities are designed to help those students wishing to become more fluent in their conversation skills, as well as those students who wish to improve their academic English skills in order to perform well in college degree programs. Advanced Studies English Program is designed for advanced level English students wishing to enhance their English languge skills. Students will be able to choose from three interesting subject areas such as TOEFL Preparation, Business English, and American Literature. These classes are designed to challenge students to become the best English speakers they can possibly be. Tuition: $2,160
