The school was founded by Quaker pioneers in 1873. WPU enrolls over 900 students in the College of Arts, Sciences and Professional Studies and 750 students in the College for Working Adults. Here students come from 40 states and 12 countries. The college has a 16:1 student-teacher ratio.

While almost all colleges and universities try to prepare students for positions of leadership on and off campus, Penn is one of only 40 college programs nationwide to earn this honor.

In addition to our four-year academic program in a traditional setting, Penn offers an Associate of Arts in Leadership Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Master of Business Leadership through our College for Working Adults on three campuses in Iowa.

Participants:

English as a Second Language Endorsement. Two 16-week semesters, plus optional summer sessions.
