Iowa Western offers More Than 80 Programs of Study, including many career and technical programs that are specifically designed to get you into the workforce upon graduation as well as a number of Arts and Science programs that allow you to complete an Associate’s degree and transfer seamlessly to a four-year institution.

Iowa Western Community College invites international students to study English in a safe and supportive learning environment. The Heartland English Language Program offers small classes, friendly teachers, and many special activities that help you develop your English language skills. Academic fluency in the four language skills (Reading, Writing, Listening/Speaking) is emphasized in long-term goals. 

IWCC offers five (5) eight-week ESL sessions per year. The curriculum consists of five levels of academic ESL for each of the four skills. The Heartland English Language Program is designed for students who want to continue or begin their academic career here at IWCC or at a four-year institution.

$116 per credit hour+$100 tuition fee per credit hour
