The School was founded in 1917. Undergraduate and graduate business programs at Bentley College are accredited by the AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The total enrollment is over 5,500 students.

Bentley University students whose home language is not English are invited to take advantage of the free tutorial services offered by Bentley's ESOL Center.  English Department faculty members who specialize in teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL) provide support to help students achieve success in their courses across the curriculum.
