The English as a Second Language Program of the Portage Public Schools teachs American English and culture to promote workplace readiness and citizenship in order to enhance the quality of life for adults from all nations. ESL classes for adults. here are three teachers and three levels of instruction for classes that meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.  There are two levels of instruction for class that meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
