Harcum College is located in Bryn Mawr, a beautiful, safe, family-oriented suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and only twelve miles from the center of the city. The regional train line is adjacent to the campus, providing easy access to Philadelphia, New York, Washington, D.C., and the Philadelphia International Airport.
Harcum degree programs are divided into three distinct centers: Allied Health, Business & Professional Studies, and Human Services. Harcum College provides a variety of opportunities for students interested in an intercollegiate athletics program.
The English Language Academy provides professional instruction in linguistic skills, intercultural communication and American culture. The Academy is ideal for non-native English speakers who wish to gain skills and communicate with competence in an English-speaking environment, including school or work. Full and part-time instruction in English as a second language (ESL) is offered throughout the year. Classes are small and can accommodate all levels of English proficiency from beginner to advanced. Instructors are professional and thoroughly experienced in teaching English as a second language.
All students on F-1 (student) visas are required to attend class 20 hours each week. Applicants not holding the F-1 visa may register for part-time courses, which range from 3 - 15 hours per week.
