Berkeley College was founded in 1931. It enrolls over 7,200 students, with more than 700 international students in its Bachelor’s and Associate’s degree program. All BC campuses are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Participants:

English As A Second Language. Berkeley offers an English as a Second Language (ESL) program through Embassy CES at the New York City campus. Students who wish to enter one of Berkeley's programs and do not have the required TOEFL score can apply for both ESL classes and admission to Berkeley College at the same time using the International Student Application Form. If all requirements are met, conditional acceptance into the academic program is granted based on successful completion of the ESL program. Students without a TOEFL score may be accepted to Berkeley College if they have successfully completed ESL at an approved language program such as Level 112 at an ELS Language Center.
