        QCC has more than 15,000 students, enrolled in Associate degree or certificate programs and another 10,000 students attending continuing education programs on the campus. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Queensborough Community College offers transfer and career degree programs through seventeen academic departments resulting in the Associate in Arts, the Associate in Science, and the Associate in Applied Science degrees. The College also offers non-credit courses, certificate programs, and access to the visual and performing arts.

Intermediate English as a Second Language – Level I,II. For those with some experience but without
a working knowledge of English. Emphasis on vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, sentence structure, and intensive conversation practice.- $205
Advanced English as a Second Language. Students continue to develop speaking and writing skills. The ability to narrate , persuade, explain, describe, and entertain will be improved, and appreciation and understanding of literature will be enhanced. - $205
TOEFL Preparation Course. Helps students prepare for the TOEFL examination. Includes intensive concentration in the TOEFL subjects: listening, conversation, grammar, vocabulary, and reading. - $210
Sign LanguageCommunication. Bridge the gap between the hearing and non-hearing worlds in this lively, short course. - $120
Introduction to Accent Reduction. Learn to pronounce some of the most roublesome sounds in English. Emphasis will be on consciously using correct pronunciation in exercises consisting of isolated speech sounds, words and sentences.  - $145
Intermediate Accent Reduction. Fine-tune pronunciation of American speech sounds and work on special problems such as consonant blends, final consonant clusters, and stress and intonation rules and patterns. - $150
Talking to Americans. Pronunciation skills and communication techniques will be incorporated into class discussions, informal conversations, visits to stores and restaurants, and short formal presentations. -  $90
