Diablo Valley College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, an institutional-accrediting body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. 

The main campus is located off Interstate 680 in Pleasant Hill, California and twenty miles east of UC Berkeley. DVC serves more than 22,000 students of all ages and offers more than 2600 courses are offered. The largest group on campus is 20-24 years.

Participants:

Intensive ESL/EAP Program. This program consists of 6 levels, each level is 8 weeks. It encourages students to begin on an 8-week start date, but it also offer a 4-week start date to accommodate different schedules. 24 class hours of instruction per week. Maximum or 15 students per class. Average class size is 13 students. Courses include Reading, Writing, Grammar, Listening and Speaking and elective classes. Lecture series brings outside speakers into classes. Students who successfully complete the 8-week Advanced B course may begin at DVC without a TOEFL score.

Tuition:
Non-residents of the United States are charged $208.00 per unit ($188.00 per unit plus $20.00 per unit enrollment fee).
