Palomar College enrolls approximately 30,000 full-time and part-time students. Residents of California are charged only $20 per unit. At Palomar, students may choose from over 250 associate degree and certificate programs, complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree, or enjoy personal enrichment classes for lifelong learning. There are many programs for students wishing to transfer to different four-year universities, including institutions in the University of California and California State University systems.

Palomar College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation and the Department of Education.

Participants:

English as a Second Language (beginning)
This course offers instruction for beginners in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  It  is not taken for college credit. Advanced material not covered. Non-credit.

English as a Second Language (intermediate)
The program provides listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for the non-native speaker of English. The course includes intermediate proficiency levels. 2-4 units. 

Tuition:
Out-of-state residents pay the enrollment fee plus tuition fees of $179 per credit.
