The English Language Institute & International Programs is located right on campus of the University of san Diego. Its teachers are experts with master's degrees and many teaching specialties. ELI students have access to University and University Extension resources such as native-speaker conversation leaders, computer labs, a state-of-the-art language lab, 10 libraries, and a wide variety of core and elective courses for personal, academic, and professional development.


Participants:

14 Week Intensive English Language Program  
This program is for non-native speakers of English who wish to prepare for academic study in the U.S. have reached an Intermediate level of language and who are interested in entering a university degree program. Application fee: $175
Total Program costs: $4,300

American Business English & Cross Cultural Communications  
This program is for students and business professionals who are interested in learning about American business practices. TBD based on location of the program

Pre-Legal Program  
This program is for  students interested in entering a U.S. Law School or legal professionals interested in expanding their knowledge of other legal systems. Total Program costs: $2,160. Application fee: $50  

Short-term Summer Intensive English Language Program
This program is for non-native speakers of English who are at the Intermediate level of learning and who wish to continue practicing their skills during summer vacation. Application fee: $120
Tuition fee: $3,500 

Summer Youth Program  
This program is for non-native English speakers who are between the ages of 14 and 17 can practice their language skills in and out of the classroom. In-class instruction includes skill development in reading/writing and listening/speaking. Students can use their new skills as they participate in field trips, sporting activities, and social events. TBD based on location of the program 

TESOL Certificate Program
This graduate level certificate program allows participants to acquire the specialized training and skills needed for a successful career teaching or preparing to teach ESL in a non-native English speaking country. University of San Diego (USD) instructors will provide new innovative insights, activities, and techniques which can be integrated into the classroom. TBD based on location of the program
