Participants:

The Intensive English Program: The Intensive English Program (IEP) is a non-credit, non-degree program for individuals who wish to study English-only at the University of San Francisco. Admission to the IEP is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and/or have completed their secondary school education. Admission to the IEP is separate from admission to University of San Francisco degree programs.  Year-round program: two 15-week semesters in the fall (August to December) and spring (January to May) semesters and two six-week sessions during the summer.

ESL courses for degree-seeking students: Non-native speakers of English applying to USF degree programs must submit official results of either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) to the USF Admissions office. To be considered for full undergraduate admission to USF, international applicants must have a minimum TOEFL score of at least 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based), or IELTS overall band score of at least 6.0 with no individual band score below 5.5. 

Tuition:
Fall/spring $4,950 (20 hours per week)
Summer: $2,475 (full time); $1,485 (part-time; 15 hours per week); $990 (part-time; 10 hours per week)
