Academics

Pace enrolls approximately 13 500 students in bachelorís, masterís, and doctoral programs in the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Lienhard School of Nursing, Lubin School of Business, School of Education, Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, and School of Law. Pace University prepares students to become leaders in their fields by providing an education that combines academics with professional experience and the New York advantage.

Athletics

Paceís Westchester campus is home to 19 NCAA Division II sportsí teams, which include: Menís Sports: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, swimming and diving, tennis, and track and field; Womenís Sports: basketball, cheerleading, cross country, equestrian, golf, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, and track and field. Pace also offers intramural programs in water polo, indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball, flag football, and three-on-three basketball tournaments. Paceís Westchester campus is home to the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Health, Fitness, and Recreation Center. The facility has three basketball courts, an eighth-mile track, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and a full range of exercises classes.

Campus

Pace offers students seven residency options throughout the Westchester campus: Dow Hall (Briarcliff) (this ivy-covered building provides single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms and is home to Honors Program Housing); Hillside (Briarcliff)(a two-story, traditional collegiate residence that houses both men and women in various room styles); Valley (Briarcliff) (housing both men and women in various room styles, Valley also includes an outdoor sand volleyball court and basketball court); New Dorm (Briarcliff) (reserved for upperclassmen, New Dorm features suite-style living arrangements; Martin Hall (Pleasantville) (overlooking the campusí Environmental Center, Martin Hall houses men and women in both single and double occupancy rooms; North Hall (Pleasantville) (designed similarly to Martin Hall, North Hall houses men and women, and is where the inter-campus shuttle makes frequent stops; Townhouses (Pleasantville): (reserved for upperclassmen, the Townhouses include 36 tri-level apartments for both men and women. Each unit houses eight students in four double rooms. Pace University offers an array of meal plans and meal plan options designed to suit each Pace student. From small continental breakfasts to large sit-down dinners, Pace Dining can provide the food and services to fit all needs. Both campuses are connected by a free shuttle bus that takes students from Pleasantville to New York City.

Facilities

Westchester campus has up-to-date Edward & Doris Mortola Library. Computer labs, located throughout the Westchester campus, are available for students to perform coursework and other computing needs. The Westchester lab houses 84 computers, 4 printers, and 3 scanners.

Health & Safety

University Health Care offers a full range of primary care services to the Pace University community. Health centers are staffed by nurse practitioners and physicians. Services available include: health education, health assessment with complete physical examinations, womenís health care, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, first aid for minor injuries, management of chronic health problems. Pace has a professional security staff on duty and visible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All students, faculty, staff, and alumni must show identification to enter the premises, and all visitors must register at the security stations before entering. The Safety & Security staff also provides an escort service at both campuses: students may request an escort to walk them between any two points on campus.

Students

The student body of Pace University is: White (non-Hispanic), Asian, Black, Hispanic, and other. Clubs are broken down into various categories: athletics/sports, business/professional, student media and entertainment, greek life, collegiate interests, student governance, politics and society, honor societies, and cultural/social. Pace is home to six fraternities and five sororities throughout its two campuses. Paceís greek community participates in community service and other philanthropic events throughout the academic year.

Alumni & Post-Grad

Every Pace graduate automatically becomes a lifetime member of the Pace University Alumni Association at no cost. Members in good standing are entitled to a full range of benefits. The Pace University Alumni Relations Office helps students connect with their fellow alumni through a wide range of events and services; from speaking engagements to social networking to travel opportunities.
