Park University, an entrepreneurial institution of learning, provides access to academic excellence which will prepare learners to think critically, communicate effectively and engage in lifelong learning while serving a global community. Park's traditional campus in Parkville is host to two-thirds of more than 500 international students from more than 100 countries and substantial and growing globalization program. Multi-cultural and international programs are growing and impact all of student learners throughout the world.


Sports include men's and women's teams in soccer, basketball, volleyball, cross country and track. A women's softball and golf team and men's baseball are also part of the program. Parkville Campus provides students with Breckon Sports Center (Men's and Women's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Basketball), Julian Field (Men's and Women's Soccer), Park Softball Complex (Women's Softball), Comfort Field (Men's Baseball), Track Complex (Men's amd Women's Track and Field), Intramural Field House and Fitness Center.


A housing contract is available to all students enrolled for a minimum of 12 semester hours at the Parkville Daytime Campus Center. There are two residence halls available on campus: Chesnut, and Herr House. All students living in the residence halls are required to have a meal plan. There are several locations on campus to obtain food including the Copley Quad Smart Market (for residential students only); the Academic Underground, the Pirate Grounds Coffee Shop, and the Thompson Café. All meal plans are non-refundable and require a University ID for initial purchase and use at each meal.


The McAfee Memorial Library is a place that provides information, links, electronic databases and the online catalog. The Library added an e-book reference collection covering topics in business, education, the environment, history, biography, international affairs, law, literature, multicultural studies, the social sciences, religion, and science. A computer lab is maintained with standard software for most needed applications, Internet access, printer and online course access. The staff is available to help students who need assistance.

Health & Safety

The Primary Care Clinic at the Parkville Campus is open Monday through Friday. A Walk-in Clinic is also available at the Parkville office of Platte County Health Department. Qualified staff of Registered Nurses of the Walk-in Clinic offers the following services: - Blood pressure, blood sugar and hemoglobin screenings, - Tuberculosis skin tests, - Confidential pregnancy tests, - Confidential HIV AIDS and STD testing, - Adult and International Travel Vaccinations. Escort services are available on the Parkville Campus through the Department of Campus Safety. Students can be escorted to their car or residence hall after an evening class or activity. Faculty, staff, students and guests are strongly encouraged to report all crimes and emergencies to the Department of Campus Safety.


Student Clubs and Organizations at Park University offer the opportunity to be involved in many different ways on campus, in the community, and online. Students can become members of Honor Societies (Alpha Chi, Alpha Kappa Delta, Beta Beta Beta, Lambda Alpha Epsilon-Criminal Justice Club, Sigma Tau Delta-The English Club, Sigma Alpha Pi); American Merketing Association, Association for Computing Machinery, Biology Club, Chem Club, Connection at Park, Geo Club, Political Science Club, Psychology Club, Social Work Club, Modern Languages Club, Theatre Club, Pirate Radio Club, Model UN group, Religious/Spiritual Organizations.


Students can find off-campus housing and live with or without families.

Alumni & Post-Grad

All graduates of Park University's programs are automatically members of the Alumni Association. They will receive the Park Magazine, the alumni magazine published two times per year, invitations to regional receptions/reunions, notification of events including the annual Alumni Weekend and Harvest Fest, representation on the Alumni Council, and access to the online Alumni Directory.

The Career Development Center (CDC) provides services for all stages of career development, including: - Resume and cover letter construction and critique - Internship Assistance and Information - Resources for career exploration - Personal Counseling related to careers in person or via phone or online communication - Job search strategies including networking, self-marketing and Internet research - Interviewing techniques addressing behavioral & informational interviews - Graduate School selection and admissions information - Career/ life planning.
