The Georgia Campuses of Strayer University are devoted to offering both full-time and part-time study opportunities for its students in the following locations: Columbus, Augusta, Savannah, Douglasville, Morrow, Atlanta, Lithonia, Roswell. At 9 campuses students are provided with undergraduate and graduate programs in high-demand fields such as accounting, business, criminal justice, health services administration, information systems, and public administration.


Strayer University's Georgia Campuses do not provide on-campus housing for its students as the general student population of the University is composed of working adults attending college on a part-time basis at night and/or on the weekend. Georgia campuses are designed with space for appropriate academic and administrative support facilities instead.


Strayer University's Georgia Campuses provide a variety of computer services to its students. All campuses have multiple computer labs, including open labs that are available for student use during normal campus hours. There are also teaching and networking labs at Georgia Campuses where students are taught. All labs are equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems and high-speed Internet connections. Georgia Campuses have on site Lab Monitors and Learning Resources Center Managers who can assist students with basic computer questions. They can also help students in the use of online databases as well as basic functions of Microsoft Word and Excel. Learning Resources Centers (LRC) of the campuses support the academic programs and information literacy program with both traditional and electronic instructional resources and services. Through the LRC students are provided with library resources, computer labs, and audiovisual support. Availability of the LRC online is also very important for students as they may access the library’s online catalog, sample DRPs, and a number of informational databases which provide indexing and full text retrieval for many source documents.

Health & Safety

Georgia Campuses of Strayer University do not provide students with health services. Students are required to provide proof of proper immunization and maintain health insurance coverage during their enrollment. The University also offers health insurance program through the cooperation with Student Benefits International. Besides non-insurance healthcare protection and medical savings plan is available. Welfare and safety of students, faculty, and employees are under the Campus Directors' and Campus Deans' responsibility. Students in their turn should report them immediately in case of a dangerous situation. Annual Campus Security Report which contains information on campus security regulations, notification procedures, recommended personal safety practices, campus crime reporting guidelines, and campus crime statistics is distributed to students, staff and faculty each year.


Georgia Campuses' student body at Strayer University reflects the cultural diversity of the metropolitan areas where the campus is located. It attracts students of various ages, a majority of whom are working adults. Students diversity is the following: nearly 62% of students are people aged 31 years or older, students aged 23-30 constitute 32% and traditional college age students (under 23) constitute 6%, 67% of all students are female and 33% are male. The University also gives students an opportunity to participate in different students organizations and clubs. They must check with their local Campus Dean for clubs information specific to their campus.


Georgia Campuses of Strayer University do not offer campus housing for its students. A lot of housing options are available near Strayer University's Georgia Campuses but still securing housing is the student’s responsibility.

Alumni & Post-Grad

Georgia Campuses of Strayer University are committed to providing benefits and services to alumni, establishing educational and professional connections between current students and alumni, promoting a positive image of the University and its students - past and present, and honoring alumni service and leadership in the community. Graduates of the University have an access to the online directory which centralizes contact information so that they can stay connected with former classmates and make professional connections that support mutual professional development. Besides graduates are often invited to networking, community, and campus events.

Jobs & Internship

Students of Strayer University are not guaranteed to be employed after graduation. Though Strayer University offers an opportunity to connect students and graduates with employers. For this purpose StrayerU CareerLink was created and helps students and alumni seek full and part-time jobs. On-campus students may also take advantage of resources located in the Learning Resources Centers. Besides there are "Career Corners" on campuses which include books, periodicals, and local job listings. Graduates and students are also offered to use services of Regional Student Affairs Officers who deliver career services for campus and online students, providing a range of career seminars and offering on campus workshops and online career webinars. Important topics include resume writing, interviewing techniques, networking strategies, job search strategies, online job search strategies and other timely topics.
