Kentucky Campuses of Strayer University are devoted to offering both full-time and part-time study opportunities for its students. Its students are provided with undergraduate and graduate degrees, certificate and diploma programs in high-demand fields such as accounting, business, criminal justice, health services administration, information systems, and public administration that may be completed in three campus locations in Florence, Lexington and Louisville.


Kentucky Campuses do not provide on-campus housing for its students as the general student population of this institution is composed of working adults attending college on a part-time basis at night and/or on the weekend. All campuses are designed with space for appropriate academic and administrative support facilities instead.


Strayer University's Kentucky Campuses provide its students with a variety of computer services. There are multiple computer labs, including open labs that are available for student use during normal campus hours. Besides classes for students sometimes take place in teaching and networking labs equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems and high-speed Internet connections. Campuses in Lexington, Louisville and Florence have on site Lab Monitors and Learning Resources Center Managers who can assist students with basic computer questions. Students may receive help in the use of online databases as well as basic functions of Microsoft Word and Excel. Each campus has also the Learning Resources Center (LRC) which supports the academic programs and information literacy program with both traditional and electronic instructional resources and services. Besides the LRC provides library resources, computer labs, and audiovisual support and is available online. All students may access the library’s online catalog, sample DRPs, and a number of informational databases which provide indexing and full text retrieval for many source documents.

Health & Safety

Kentucky Campuses of Strayer University do not provide its students with health services. Students are required to provide proof of proper immunization and maintain health insurance coverage during their enrollment. They also may receive health insurance offered by the University. Welfare and safety of students, faculty, and employees are under the Campus Directors' and Campus Deans' responsibility. Students should report them immediately in case of a dangerous situations occur. The Annual Report about information on campus security regulations, notification procedures, recommended personal safety practices, campus crime reporting guidelines, and campus crime statistics is distributed to students, staff and faculty each year.


Strayer University attracts students of various ages, a majority of whom are working adults. 62% of students are people aged 31 years or older, students aged 23-30 constitute 32% and traditional college age students (under 23) constitute 6%, 67% of all students are female and 33% are male. Kentucky Campuses' students have a chance to participate in different students organizations and clubs. Information about clubs and organizations must be checked with local Campus Deans.


Students at Kentucky Campuses are not offered campus housing opportunities. A great number of housing options are available near Strayer campuses but still students are responsible for housing securing.

Alumni & Post-Grad

The University is committed to providing some useful services to alumni, establishing educational and professional connections between current students and alumni, promoting a positive image of the University and its students - past and present, and honoring alumni service and leadership in the community. Graduates have an access to the online directory which centralizes contact information so that they can stay connected with former classmates and make professional connections that support mutual professional development. Updated directory profiles gives alumni an opportunity to be invited to networking, community, and campus events.

Jobs & Internship

Students of Strayer University are not guaranteed to be employed after graduation. Though they are provided with an opportunity to be connected with employers. With the help of StrayerU CareerLink students and alumni have a chance to seek full and part-time jobs. On-campus students may take advantage of resources of the Learning Resources Centers. "Career Corners" created at each campus include books, periodicals, and local job listings. Besides students are offered to use services of Regional Student Affairs Officers who deliver career services for campus and online students, providing a range of career seminars and offer on campus workshops and online career webinars.
