Programs of the Pinellas Technical Education Centers Curriculum are designed to be flexible and incorporate varied learning styles, abilities, and interests. They contribute to a learning environment that promotes success and personal achievement for all students.


At Clearwater Campus vending area is available for beverages, sandwiches, and assorted snacks. From time to time, culinary students serve meals prepared as part of their culinary program. Parking facilities are provided for student vehicles with a pTEC parking decal, which is purchased as part of the enrollment process.


Textbooks and other supplies may be purchased in the campus bookstore. The program instructor will assist and advise students regarding locations to purchase required tools. Media services and materials are accessible and available for use by students and instructors. Audiovisual, printed, Internet access and computer-based materials provide individuals and groups an opportunity for study, exploration, and development.

Health & Safety

Full-time, state certified law enforcement officers perform at Clearwater Campus the following duties: investigate violations of civil law, criminal law, motor vehicle law, and make arrests or criminal referrals as necessary. The campus police officer and private security guard shall provide school-based security and maintain the peace on School Board property.


At Clearwater Campus students can become members of Career Technical Student Organizations (SkillsUSA), Student Liaison Council (SLC), National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).

Career planning services enable students and prospective students to receive personalized support in selecting career paths which will maximize their chances for success. Career assessment is a systematic process of evaluating the career abilities, interests, and aptitudes of the student in order to provide assistance in making informed decisions about a career choice.
