Programs include Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Education, Master of Business Administration, Dual Degree, Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice, Education, Business and some other areas of study.AthleticsUniversity competes under the protection of the National Collegiate Athletic Association as well as in the Eastern College Athletic Conference. The Crusaders compete at the Division III level, the largest NCAA competing level. Students may choose from the following kinds of sport Baseball, basketball, Cross Country Running, Field Hockey, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball.CampusAlvernia University maintains five distinctive kinds of residential living-learning environments. The University offers housing to full-time matriculated single students only. The main dining hall, located on the first floor of the Student Center, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. University committed to offering you a wide variety of dining options at every meal. Kestrel Cafe, Courtside Cafe, Upland Center Cafe serves students during daytime and evening hours.FacilitiesAlvernia library maintains a collection of nearly 100,000 print, audiovisual and computer materials; it contains almost 900 periodicals with almost 200 current subscriptions. Each year the library adds approximately 2000 volumes in a variety of formats. Computer labs, gyms, wireless internet access is also available for students throughout the campus.Health & SafetyThe Health & Wellness Center offers medical services to students Monday-Friday from 9:00-12:00 PM and 1:00-4:00 PM. The Center is staffed by a board certified Family Physician and a registered nurse and the Reading Hospital Family Practice Residents. Those students who don't feel well, should simply call or stop by the Health & Wellness Center to set up an appointment.StudentsOver 50 student groups, including intramural and intercollegiate sports, academic clubs, honor societies, student government, and faith-based, arts, environmental, and service clubs.
