Academics

Fresno Campus offers degree programs under the auspices of the California School of Professional Psychology, the California School of Forensic Studies, the Shirley M. Hufstedler School of Education and the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management. Interdisciplinary programs are also offered.

Athletics

The Department of Athletics main goal is to enhance the education of students through athletic participation. Alliant's men's and women's cross-country and track and field teams compete in the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics.

Campus

Fresno Campus is housed in a 41,150-square foot modern, air-conditioned two-story complex with a cafe-snack bar, and a patio plaza. Fresno campus has ample free parking.

Facilities

Campus offers two computer labs, a teaching computer classroom, a videoconferencing center, an audiovisual services center, laboratories and a library tailored to studentsí academic needs.Students also are able to use computers, online access, video equipment, scanners, TV monitors, and statistical and data processing facilities. Kauffman Library has holdings of over 18,000 volumes (including over 600 video and audio tapes) and a current subscription list of over 200 journals. Kauffman Library is located on the first floor of the Alliant Fresno Campus.

Health & Safety

Alliant International University and Kaiser Permanente have teamed up with Intercare Solutions to offer students Kaiser Permanente Student Health plan, which is fully insured and comprehensive. Plan provides all year round coverage. Additionally, students may choose to enroll in the Dental and Vision Plan provided by the Golden West Dental and Vision and Dental Club One. Also for additional cost students can cover a spouse, registered domestic partner or a child.

Students

Students come to study from all over the US and foreign countries. The majority of the students are women. Fresno Campus has an active Student Government Association that sponsors events and activities that enhance the quality of student life.

Location

Nightlife is extremely rich and is presented by bars, dance clubs, karaokes, gay bars, music venues, bowling and sports bars.

Alumni & Post-Grad

Alliant Alumni Association is open to all alumni, which includes alumni from United States International University (USIU), Cal Western and the California School of Professional Psychology. Alumni benefit in a variety of ways for keeping in touch with their schools and with Alliant. AlliantConnect, the online alumni community, enables graduates to contact former classmates, network with fellow alumni in local field, contact alumni in local area, and learn about alumni events and news from Alliant. AlliantConnect also offers listed job options.

Jobs & Internship

Career Center helps students to post resumes, find an internship, or search for job opportunities. The Alliant Connect Career Center is a free service that connects experienced students and alumni with employers. Alliant strives to ensure students make the most of their career, whether they are just starting out, or considering a change from the current job.
