Antelope Valley College offers Associate in Arts, Associate in Science (two-year) degrees in 71 fields, as well as certificate programs in 59 vocational areas. Programs are offered in:Business, Computer Studies, and Economic Development, Health Sciences, Instructional Resources and Extended Services, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Engineering, Physical Education and Athletics, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Technical Education and Visual and Performing Arts.


Antelope Valley College is a member of the Foothill Conference. Men's teams are represented in football, basketball, baseball cross-country and track and field. Women's teams are represented in basketball, cross-country, field and track, soccer, softball, volleyball, golf and tennis. Students are encouraged to attend all sporting event at discounted rates or free for students with ASO card.


Parking permit is required to park vehicle anywhere on campus. Dining Services are provided by contract only.


College library maintains a collection of books and periodicals to support academic and vocational programs.

Health & Safety

The Care-A-Van provides health services and educational information via health related events held throughout the year to Antelope Valley College students.Health Services is a relatively new department offering health services and promoting good health through a variety of events and seminars.


Registered students are eligible for membership in the clubs and organizations. Also students are encouraged to form additional clubs and organizations to meet special needs or interests. Antelope Valley College has 19 active clubs: Alliance, Alpha Iota, Honors Society, ASL@AVC - American Sign Language Club, AVC Gamers Club, AV Campus Christians, Cultural Arts for Change, Forensics Speech Team (formerly AVC Speech Team), Francophone, Military Club, Model United Nations, Multicultural Club, Music Business Club, Philosopher's Lounge, Psychology Student Organization, Rotaract, Student Nurses Association.

Alumni & Post-Grad

The AVC Alumni and Friends Association is a growing organization with the mission of connecting Antelope Valley College alumni to each other and to the college. The Antelope Valley College Alumni and Friends Association builds relationships between and among former Antelope Valley College students and friends to enrich their lives and foster support for AVCís future.

Jobs & Internship

Career Center serves the career development needs of students and the local community. The main goal of the center is to inspire and empower individuals to achieve career success by facilitating an environment that fosters making informed and active decisions. Center also provides support for those students who need assistance with defining their career options and establishing their academic and career goals.
