The Altus campus offers programs designed to meet the higher education needs of working adults and military personnel. Professional staff and faculty are committed to providing the finest service and educational opportunities. Altus offers baccalaureate masterís-level programs that are dedicated to the integration of faith and learning, and offers well-rounded experiences focused on producing competent and intelligent professionals and leaders.


The Altus Campus uses the facilities in the Billman Education Center. Classrooms are large and have the latest technology. Students of this campus can access online books, books, articles, research guides, archives, and learn about their local library system. The goal of the WBU Library is to provide learners with the best service and access to resources that support the curriculum of WBU.

Health & Safety

The Altus campus maintains a safe and secure environment for faculty, staff, and students. On campus, security is provided by the Security Forces Squadron. All students entering the campus must produce I.D. Security Forces personnel perform frequent patrols of parking areas near and around the campus. Additionally, Wayland employs a building monitor, who walks through the facilities each evening during classes and secures the building for the evening. The building housing the Altus office and classrooms has five outside entry/exit doors and is equipped with fire alarms and a sprinkler system. Student Health Services promotes the health and wellness of every student by direct intervention and health education. The student's physical well-being is of utmost importance to Wayland Altus 's administration, faculty, and staff. Health Services are provided free for any student currently enrolled at the university.

Services Offered by Alumni Services are the following: Book Travel, Update your information for the Association of Former Students, Footprints, Order Transcripts, Update Current Contact Information, Webprints, WBU Savings Connection.

Jobs & Internship

The Career Services Office provides assistance to students and alumni in developing lifelong career decision-making and job-search skills in an effort to enhance their employment opportunities. Three career testing are offered: 1) Self-Directed Search - a tool which compares students' interests with hundreds of other individuals and indicates what professions they have enjoyed pursuing; 2) Myer's Brigg's and Strong's Interest Inventory Combined - a comprehensive career inventory through which a detailed Career Inventory is created.
