The Fairbanks Campus provides academic advising for students. Whether by appointment or as a walk-in, it is advisable to plan at least 60 minutes for the academic advising session. At Wayland Baptist University - Fairbanks students may acquire either an Associate of Applied Science, Bachelor of Applied Science, Bachelor of Christian Ministry degree or a Master of Arts in History, Master of Arts in Management, Master of Public Administration (online), and Master of Christian Ministry (online).

As an external campus for Wayland Baptist University, the Fairbanks campus may not have many of the facilities of a traditional campus (i.e., dorms and dining). The Fairbanks has two locations - Eielson AFB Site and Ft. Wainwright.

The Fairbanks campus has a great Learning Resource Center (Library) to offer and it is accessible online. The classrooms at the Fairbanks campus are large and allow much of room for every student. Classrooms have the latest technology.

Health & Safety

Wayland Baptist University is deeply concerned about the safety and security of its Fairbanks Campus employees and students. During Campus business hours, WBU offices and facilities are secured by Campus staff personnel and faculty. In the evening a contracted security firm and military law enforcement, provide building security on the military installations. The Military Police (MP) of Ft. Wainwright, the Security Police (SP) of Eielson AFB, and the North Pole Police Department perform frequent patrols of parking areas near and around the Education Centers and teaching locations.

Jobs & Internship

The Fairbanks campus offers career services. Students across all departments are eligible to receive services to address their career planning and job search needs. The WBU staff are well-informed about the search process and prepared to assist learners with their individual needs.
