A variety of programs is available to help adults learn, whether their goal is to learn to read and perform mathematical computations, to complete high school by taking the Adult High School Diploma program or just to brush up on their skills. Instructional approaches are used by the staff to meet the wide range of educational needs of adults.

Campus

Randdolph Community College's Armadillo Cafe is located in the Student Services Center on the Asheboro Campus. The Cafe offers delicious choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. At Randolph Community College parking is allowed only in the overflow lot or in lined parking spaces. A parking permit is required for each vehicle owned by an RCC employee (faculty and staff) and curriculum students. Parking permits will be color-coded to match the color of parking spaces in which that vehicle is authorized to park.

Facilities

The LRC includes the library, an open access computer lab, the writing lab, and the Department of Distance Education. The library collection includes approximately 41 000 print volumes, subscriptions to over 200 periodicals, over 5 000 audiovisual programs, and a variety of microform materials to support the total instructional program of the College. Online services include access to the Internet, NC.LIVE, electronic books and locally-licensed databases. The Writing Lab is staffed by full-time English instructors and is located on the second floor of the Learning Resources Center. The purpose of the Writing Lab is to help students with their writing by providing more individualized assistance. The Writing Lab offers guidance in prewriting, drafting, and revising.
