Regent University offers both undergraduate and graduate programs with a wide range of degrees and disciplines of study. Regent prepares capable men and women to excel both in mind and spirit. All students, faculty and administrators share a calling, founded on Biblical principles, to make a significant difference in communities, cities, and nation. Regent University serves as a leading center of Christian thought and action providing a quality education from a Biblical perspective and global context in pivotal professions to equip Christian leaders to change the world.


All sports are coed and provide an opportunity for the Regent community to be involved in a variety of athletic activities in a Christian environment. Students can play in Basketball, Flag Football, Golf, Ping Pong, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball, Wiffle Ball.


Regent students can live in Regent Village and Regent Commons. Regent Village is open to graduate students with families. It consists of more than 200 two- and three-bedroom apartments located less than one mile from campus. Regent Commons is open to undergraduate and graduate students without children. This facility provides a wide range of apartment styles and square footage. Regent Ordinary is a quaint dining establishment providing good food at great prices in a delightful setting. Student Housing residents can purchase a meal card and use it to receive 13 full meals in the Ordinary. All Regent University faculty, staff and students are required to register their vehicles and motorcycles with Administrative Services. Students, faculty, staff and must park only in regular parking spaces in the following university lots: Classroom Building, Robertson Hall, Library/Administration and Communication & Performing Arts Center.


The University Library, with access to over 750 000 microforms and 10,000 audiovisual items offers numerous online subscription services and resources. The building also houses Regent Law Library, School of Undergraduate Studies administrative offices, student computer labs, the university's copy services center and mail services. Robertson Hall is equipped with the latest technology in audio/video equipment and cameras for simultaneous broadcasting.

Health & Safety

All graduate students enrolled with six or more on-campus credit hours and all undergraduate students enrolled with nine or more on-campus credit hours are required to have Health Insurance Coverage. They will automatically be billed and enrolled in the Student Medical Plan. The CBN/RCPD (CBN/Regent Campus Police Department) serves and protects the campus community by providing a safe environment.


There are over 40 chartered student organizations at Regent University. Among them they are: Alexander Hamilton-Thomas Jefferson Society, Alpha Phi Omega, Newman Club, Omicron Delta Kappa, Psychology Club, Animation Club, Regent Democrats and Independents, Ballroom Club, Regent Journal of Law and Public Policy, Regent Students for Life, Christian Association of Psychological Studies, Christian Legal Society, Community Choir, Religion Club, Republican Club, English Club, International Justice Mission, Student Bar Association, International Student Organization, Student Veterans Association, Jabez Praise Dance Ministry, and more.


For those students who prefer to live off-campus, the Hampton Roads area offers a wide spectrum of housing options in the cities of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk. office provides an off-campus referral service that includes listings of individual rooms, apartments, townhouses and houses for rent.

Alumni & Post-Grad

The Regent University Alumni Association (RUAA) has sought to reach alumni through the regional alumni chapter program. Regent University publishes Christian Leader. It is an alumni publication that contains the latest news and information about Regent University and its graduates. The magazine is published by the University Marketing department, free of charge, for alumni and friends of the university.

Jobs & Internship

Career Resource Center consultants provide free direction and assistance in interpreting assessments, gathering career information, clarifying career objectives and directing students to resources to address obstacles. School advisors/Career Services can offer students field-specific advice and information, and help optimize their academic preparation for career objective. Some schools also provide resources and assistance for internship placement, job searching and networking. Job preparation resources offer training in professional skills like resumé writing, and networking, as well as connecting students to occupational research sites and more.
