Academic life at Villanova, focused on undergraduate, graduate and continuing education, is inspired by the rich heritage of the University’s history and mission, and is grounded in the Catholic-Augustinian commitment to holistic education aimed at transforming minds and hearts. The different undergraduate colleges of the University – Liberal Arts and Sciences, Engineering, School of Business, and Nursing – as well as the Division of Part-Time and Continuing Studies and Falvey Memorial Library – are supervised by the deans and directors who report directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Villanova University's men's athletics programs are the following: baseball, basketball, cross country running, football, lacrosse, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, and track and field. As for the women's athletics programs – they include basketball, cross country running, field hockey, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, water polo, and volleyball. Villanova Dining Services provides students and teachers with the highest quality service and flexibility in the meal plans. Students are able to choose from twenty-one dining locations: 3 resident dining halls and 16 a la carte operations. Flexible meal plans have been designed to allow students to eat around their busy schedules. The University offers on-campus housing and manages the day-to-day operations of the residence halls. The office for Residence Life strives to create a welcoming residential community and to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for students residing . There are 18 residence halls and 8 apartment buildings. On-campus living students are provided with many opportunities to meet new people, learn new things, and actively participate in campus life.

Villanova University has Falvey Library (serves as the premier source of academic information for Villanova University), Bartley Virtual Library (is staffed by librarians offering expert research consultations on a drop in basis), Law Library (collects law-related government information, congressional hearings and reports, reports and manuals issued by administrative agencies, Department of Justice publications, legal periodicals, and general reference and bibliographic tools), and Digital Library (assembles, presents, and preserves digital collections that support the teaching and research of the campus and the global community of scholars). Health & Safety

The Office of Health Promotion empowers students to create healthy learning environments in which they can make responsible, educated choices to maintain balance. The Student Health Center provides excellent health care to the students. Students can expect individualized attention and timely service, whether they are suffering from a cold, the flu, allergies, or something more serious. There is also Emergency Medical Services, that is licensed and dedicated to providing Basic Life Support to Villanova University’s campus community. Villanova University has devoted significant resources to providing a safe campus and assuring the safety of the community members. The Public Safety department is responsible for campus security and consists of approximately 75 officers who provide on-campus coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Getting involved with a student organization can enhance students' college experience. There are many different clubs and organizations, including: Graduate Counseling Club, Psychology Club, Writers Club, Marketing Society, Villanova Accounting Society, Villanova Technical Analysis, Karate Club, Tennis Club, Ice Hockey Club, Bread for the World, Villanova University Invisible Children Club and many others.

The University offers off-campus housing. The local townships each have their own ordinances and regulations, and expect students to comply just like other residents. Landlord should provide a person with a safe and habitable dwelling and must comply with certain township and county requirements. Students have to be critical to the roommates they choose. They should discuss how they will pay the bills; shop for food; share cooking arrangements etc. Living off-campus will undoubtedly provide students many positive experiences and challenging opportunities for their own personal growth. Although they live off campus, they are encouraged to actively participate in the many opportunities on campus.

Alumni & Post-Grad

The Villanova University Alumni Association is committed to sustaining a lifelong relationship with the University and the Alumni in the spirit that defines Villanova. It is guided by the University's mission of excellence and the Augustinian principles of Veritas, Unitas, Caritas (Truth, Unity, Love.) The Alumni Association's 30+ chapters provide a variety of events each year around the world, including Networking, Community Service, Athletic, Cultural, Social and Spiritual activities.

Jobs & Internship

The Villanova's Career Center is aimed to provide on-campus recruiting, practice interviews, resume guidance, and individual counseling for all undergraduate and graduate students and alumni. The successful job searcher will combine different strategies to secure the job or internship of choice. Job listings, campus interviews, career fairs, and networking should be made use of simultaneously to uncover the best possibilities.
