The Higher Learning Commission


The main Spring Arbor Campus is ready to offer 60 majors and programs for its students. The faculty members are experts in their respective fields and have the credentials to prove it. Each class comprises from 20 students in average, which means students will get to personally know their professors, rather than being just a number on a class list.


Students at Spring Arbor Campus are offered to become members of a huge number of sport teams. They may choose among baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, golf, tennis, softball and more. Besides it is important that both male and female students have an opportunity to participate in the sport life of the campus.


On campus living is rather exciting for students. At Spring Arbor University the staff take residence life seriously. Married students, graduate student or a student with a family may check out family housing site. The University also offers men's, women's and both men's and women's suite-style dorms as following: Ormston Hall, Muffitt Hall, Lowell Hall, University Hall, Village Houses, Koinonia Houses, Apartments, Triplex and others. As for dining opportunities, on campus there is Chartwells - food service contractor at Spring Arbor University - that is a nationally-known and highly sought-after food service provider catering to various palates and dietary needs. Students at Spring Arbor have a wide assortment of dining choices, which include both menu items as well as dining locations. Students can also eat at the Cougar Den, the grill featuring items such as pizza, burgers and fries, located adjacent to the Dining Commons. Besides students have the option of eating at Adaís Kitchen, an on-campus bistro-styled venue, located inside the Poling Center for Global Learning and Leadership, where students can enjoy soup, sandwiches and other deli items. Spring Arbor University has parking available for a variety of people: staff, students and visitors. Students' parking of two types are available: residential and commuter student parking. Visitors have different place for parking and should get a visitor/temporary parking permit if they stay overnight, to avoid their vehicle from getting a ticket or even immobilized.


White Library at Spring Arbor Campus is a 40,000 square-foot facility that offers state-of-the-art technology and instructional media resources. The library serves both on-campus and off-campus students by providing a wide range of services including access to multiple research databases, a extensive library of resources, and assistance from knowledgeable and experienced library personnel. Features of the library include 40 multiple-use computers for research, Internet access, library system access and office automation software; media kiosks for previewing audio/visual materials; multimedia room with DVD, computers, LCD projector, surround sound and laptop connections for viewing interactive media; and student study rooms equipped with DVD, monitors, VHS and cable. The Library also features office space for librarians and guest lecturers, and a conference room for special events, complete with a fireplace and white oak ceiling. This library also houses Sacred Grounds, a coffee house that features Starbucks coffee products.

Health & Safety

In order to keep the residents, faculty, staff, students and property safe there exists the campus safety department. This department employs 10 student patrol officers who receive training in basic campus safety officer procedures, emergency medical procedures and CPR. Patrol officers on the campus are not armed. Their duty is to conduct foot and vehicular patrols of the campus and residence hall areas multiple times a day. Besides, they may also escort students and staff in the nighttime hours. Students can take advantage of a variety of services available to them right on campus at The Holton Health Center that is a state-of-the-art, primary care facility staffed by a nurse practitioner and two nurses. It is conveniently located in the basement of the Kresge Student Center and is equipped to deal with anything from the common cold to travel immunizations to stitches and splinting of injuries. It is important that a physician also visits campus twice a month and is available by appointment. Besides providing confidential and comprehensive health services, including primary care and health maintenance, to all full time students, Holton Health Center is interested in the emotional and spiritual well-being of all students.


There are more than 50 clubs, activities, organizations and ministry opportunities at the Spring Arbor Campus. There are men's and women's ministries, organizations that help other people, organizations for fun, organizations that help students to develop their fields of interests (music, law and others) and many more as the following: Band of Brothers, Circle of Sisters, Inter-faith Shelter Ministries, Highbeam, Law and Politics Society, Sigma Tau Delta, Social Work Club, Student Government Association, Multicultural and Intercultural Student Organizations, Social Etiquette Dinner and many more.


Students who are 22 years of age, live with their parent(s), married students or students of independent status as defined by the Financial Aid Office may petition to live off campus. Those students who request this privilege of off-campus housing should possess personal discipline, responsibility, integrity, and cooperation consistent with the University standards in the community context. Students at Spring Arbor Campus may also find places to relax and unwind during their non-class time with a vibrant nightlife and a vast amount of wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, deliís and other eateries peppered throughout the city.

Alumni & Post-Grad

Spring Arbor University Alumni Association exists to serve the University and its graduates by providing alumni with a continuing link among themselves and back to the University. Alumni association develops and offers a variety of ongoing programs, activities and services, designed to address the needs of its members. This association works to strengthen pride in the University by communicating the progress and accomplishments of the Unversity and its graduates through regular communications. Alumni association also identifies ways to assist the University in the achievement of its goals. Besides alumni may use SAU Alumni Portal that provides alumni directories, address management, donor giving and alumni community dialog to all alumni of SAU.

Jobs & Internship

Spring Arbor University cares about every step of students' educational experience, including the big step students will take after graduation into the workforce. Office of Career Services offers practical services including individual career counseling for academic major selection, help with finding internships, assistance in crafting students' r?sum?, and interviewing and job search strategies. Besides career services offers a life and career planning class and workshops on career-related topics. Spring Arbor University is a Christian university with over 4,000 enrolled students, that offers over 60 undergraduate majors and programs, 7 degree completion programs, 2 associate programs, and 8 graduate programs, in face-to-face and online formats.
