Many undergraduates and graduates programs are offered at the Minneapolis Campus. All programs are of high-quality and affordable. Students may choose programs from the following fields: accounting and business, communication and writing, education, individualized studies, law enforcement and criminal justice, liberal arts and humanities, math and information and computer science, nursing and health science, social and behavioral sciences, social work and human services. They may earn the Certificate, Bachelor and Master degrees.


Students at Minneapolis Campus can't find housing. However, dining services are available. The university has a list of approved caterers specializing in corporate and social events. Bus transportation is also available. For those with their own cars there is a parking area. Parking Ramp is open 24 hours a day. Handicapped spaces are located on all levels of the parking ramp, next to the elevator lobby.


The Minneapolis Campus of Metropolitan State University has different facilities that help students study. Students may visit the library and even may get materials delivered electronically. Students may also enhance their education through the extensive educational resources available through the Learning Center. This state-of-the-art facility also houses other helpful resources like the university bookstore, art gallery and more.

Health & Safety

The student health insurance must be obtained by all international students. They need to submit and complete it when making payment at financial management. Once the forms are received at Mega Life through Financial Management, then the health insurance coverage will only be considered official.


Many international students study at the Minneapolis Campus of Metropolitan State University. All students are involved in activities and organizations the campus offers. It is a great way to network and make new friends. They are the following: ACCESS, Accounting Club, African American Student Association (AASA), Asian Student Organization, Discriminology - An Intergroup Dialogue, Film Club, First College Student Association (FCSA), Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC), Haute Dish, Human Services Club, International Student Organization (ISO), Lavender Bridge, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Club, Metropolitan State University Philosophy Club, Muslim Student Organization, Nursing Student Organization, Philosophy Club, Psychology Club, Social Work Student Association, Student Activities Fees (SAFAC), Student Science Association (SSA), Student Senate, Students for Social Change and others.


As there is no on-campus housing offered on Minneapolis campus, the rental units are available within walking distance or on local bus lines. Students can find housing easily.

Alumni & Post-Grad

An Alumni Association, the Foundation and Center for Community-Based Learning were established to invite alumni, friends and community members who are connected with Metropolitan State University. They all are involved in the university's broad based community outreach and demonstrate a commitment to civic engagement.

Jobs & Internship

The Minneapolis Campus offers students counseling services and career services. These services help students with personal or psychological concerns that might interfere with their experience at Metropolitan State University. With the help of career services students will make the right career decision.
