From bachelorís degree programs in Information Technology, Manufacturing, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technology to the nationís first program in Renewable Energy Engineering, OIT helps students and professionals meet the evolving needs of their industry. It starts with unique, hands-on approach to education which combines intense lab courses, long-term projects and scientific theory to help students gain practical skills and real world experience.

OITís Athletics, Recreation and Fitness Education Center has many facilities, fitness and education opportunities. There are tennis courts, 25-meter swimming pool used for swim teams and water polo, all weather surface track and a lighted basketball court for outdoor recreation.

OIT-Portland libraries at the East and West campuses offer reference, research assistance and information literacy instruction. The libraryís computer workstations provide access to the Internet and a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Office products, as well as access to a photocopier and scanner. Free laser printing is available.
