At Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology students are offered lots of programs as Avionics Maintenance Technology, Aviation Maintenance Technology, Nondestructive Testing diploma programs, Associate of Applied Science Avionics Maintenance Technology, Aviation Maintenance Technology, Quality Control and Professional Pilot degree programs. Besides Spartan offers a Bachelor of Science Aviation Management degree program.


Students are offered the Spartan Landing Housing complex that is located just behind Spartan's Main Campus. This Spartan Landing Housing Complex offers comfortable and affordable housing for single students. Availability of the Spartan Landing is limited and filled on a first come first served basis. Students at Spartan are also recommended a free apartment referral service to assist them in locating suitable housing when the Spartan Landing is at full capacity. Service mentioned is for flight students, single students age 21 and older and married students, or for student's attending college with family. Students are highly recommended to have a vehicle while in Tulsa. As students need to get back and forth to college and to work. All students at Spartan can use their home state licenses and car tags as long as they are current. The law of Oklahoma requires that proof of insurance is kept in the vehicle at all times. Ample parking facilities are available on campus. For parking in these areas students must have a Spartan parking permit. Improperly parked cars may be towed at the owner’s expense.


Libraries at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology helps students to achieve their educational goals and are the gateway to academic excellence. Libraries are geared to support the aviation curricula, offering thousands of books, journals, videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs and various other materials. All materials can be accessed through networked computer catalogs and electronic databases. Besides the libraries offer high levels of service to its patrons with access to special aviation indexes, directories of airports and online databases including national and international library holdings. Libraries also provides Internet service to facilitate information sharing among the state's libraries through the use of the Statewide Online Catalog, and the online services EBSCOhost, FirstSearch, and SIRS Discoverer Deluxe.

Health & Safety

Students at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology are recommended to purchase insurance to cover themselves in case of accident or illness. Inquiries concerning insurance should be directed to a Student Services Office. The College does not assume financial responsibility for students who are hospitalized for injuries occurring on or off the campus.


Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology is ready to help students in finding off-campus housing. The college have reserved off-campus housing when on-campus housing is full. This reserved housing program is for both single and married students with or without families.

Alumni & Post-Grad

Alumni of Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology are as diverse as the aerospace industry itself. They are distinguished military veterans, space shuttle technicians, airline pilots, mechanics, quality control/nondestructive testing technicians, communications experts and others. The Alumni Page will provide a venue for communication between present students and faculty and their fellow classmates which they will find resourceful. In this way alumni have an opportunity to keep in touch with Spartan and with the grads by communicating and sharing insights into aerospace development, past, present and future.

Jobs & Internship

A great number of Spartan students work either full time or part time while attending school. Numerous job opportunities are actively sought and categorically posted on all campuses. Advice service helps students to decide what employment opportunities fit their work experience and are assisted in preparing for interviews. Besides students have an opportunity to be served by the Career Center at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. Career Center personnel gather information about employment opportunities. It houses a resource library of reference books and publications to assist the graduate in his or her personal job search. There are also career strategy seminars conducted for all graduating classes to properly train them in preparing resumes and cover letters, completing employment applications, and successfully handling the job interview.
