• AP Exams passed with a score of 3 or higher will earn a total of nine (9) units of credit, except where otherwise noted. Passed exams earn a grade of credit (CR) and are not calculated in the GPA. Credit applied may be dependent on the student's major, catalog and/or score. Courses that fulfill Cal Poly General Education Requirements include the appropriate GE Area notation. Credit extension is reviewed annually and may change if there are changes in the exams and/or Cal Poly curricula.
