Scholarships for Excellence; awarded on a competitive basis to students showing potential for continued high performance and leadership; up to $17,000 per year; candidates may be invited to campus for interviews. President's Scholarships; based upon SAT or ACT score and high school GPA; up to $7,500 per year. Dean's Scholarships; based upon SAT or ACT score and high school GPA; up to $7,000 per year. Departmental Scholarships; Art, Dance, Music, Theater, Biology, and Chemistry scholarships to talented students; Language and Literature/ creative writing scholarship; range from $500 to $4,000 per year; Art, Dance, Music, and Theater scholarships require an audition or portfolio; some departments require an interview.
