• As a highly selective university, Illinois Wesleyan admits students after reviewing a variety of criteria with course preparation being of primary importance. Prospective students attempting to gain admission to Illinois Wesleyan are encouraged to take the most rigorous course work available to them. Increasingly, this means taking Advanced Placement classes when appropriate. The Admission staff recognizes the challenge of AP courses during deliberation and review of applicants.
