Scholarship opportunities:
    Arts scholarships, environmental responsibility scholarships, leadership scholarships, service and peacemaking scholarships: each awarding 1 full tuition, room and board, 2 full tuition; nominated by alumni. Friendship scholarships: $2,000 awarded to international student. Calvert Ellis scholarships: $10,000-12,000 for high high school GPA or SAT scores; Juniata Presidential scholarships: $7,500-9,500 for high high school GPA or SAT scores. Juniata transfer scholarships: $8,500 for transfer student member of Phi Theta Kappa from 2-year college; $5,000-7,000 for 2-year college transfers with high GPA. Juniata PAR (program for area residents) scholarships: half tuition for area residents (nontraditional and others). North American Indian scholarship: (need-based) up to $10,000 for Native American. Ray Day scholarship: up to $5,000 for a minority student. John & Irene Dale scholarship: $3,000 for information technology student. Robert Steele Memorial scholarship: (need-based) up to $4,000 for medical/science student. Metz scholarship: up to $5,000 for intended major in business/economics; Anna Groninger Smith Memorial scholarship: (need-based) up to $4,000 for woman in business studies. W & M Donham scholarships: up to $2,000 for New England residents majoring in business/economics. Alumni scholarships: up to $5,000 for children of alumni. Church of the Brethren scholarships: up to $5,000 for Church of the Brethren members in various majors. Dorothy Baker Johnson Memorial scholarship: up to $4,000 for women aiming for careers that require advanced degree. Charles & Floretta Gibson scholarships: (need-based) for excellent character. Sam Hayes Jr. scholarship: (need-based) up to $1,500 for Pennsylvania FFA or 4H member.
