Scholarship opportunities:
    Linfield Merit Award: range from half to full tuition; for National Merit Scholarship Finalists who list Linfield as first choice. Linfield Trustee Scholarships: range from $10,300 to $15,000; based on academic record; must have 3.75 GPA. Linfield Faculty Scholarships: $5,800 to $10,600; based on academic record; must have 3.4 GPA. Transfer Scholarships: $5,300 to $10,600; for students who have attended 2- or 4-year accredited colleges full-time and have earned at least 3.25 GPA. Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships: $2,000; up to 10 awarded each year to members of Phi Theta Kappa; must have a 3.25 GPA in transferable courses. Linfield Competitive Scholarships: range from $10,000-$16,000; competitive scholarship application must be submitted along with an application for admission; competitions held on McMinnville Campus by invitation only. Music Achievement Awards: $1,500-$2,500; audition or recorded performance required, must intend to major or minor in music. Leadership/Service Scholarship: up to $3,000; up to 5 awards each year to students who have demonstrated high levels of leadership, initiative, and service to others through student government, school activities, community organizations, and church or social service agencies; invitations to apply extended by April 1 each year; candidates must complete separate application. Academic All-Star Scholarships: supplement other academic scholarships with $2,500 for first place and $1,500 for 2nd or 3rd place.
