Scholarship opportunities:
    Michigan Technological University Scholar Awards; full tuition, room and board, allowance for books; based on merit, Michigan residency, recommendation by high school teacher by mid-October of senior year. Presidential Scholars Program; $1,000 to full tuition; based on merit, Michigan residency, high school class rank. Michigan Technological University Merit Scholarships; $1,000-$2,000; based on merit and need, U.S. citizenship, high school class rank, finalist status in National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. National Scholars Program; $6,000-$12,000; merit-based for non-Michigan resident of U.S. or Canada. Alumni Legacy Award; equal to difference of resident and nonresident tuition; for non-Michigan residents who are children or grandchildren of alumni. Michigan Tech Alumni Legacy Award; $250 per year for maximum of 4 years; for Michigan residents who are children or grandchildren of alumni.
