  • The college will award credit to those students who have participated in the Advanced Placement program in high school and who have earned a 3 or better on the final examination. Currently all subject fields are acceptable for credit; acceptability of new subject fields will be determined when these subjects are introduced. The Registrar will determine the use of test scores to satisfy appropriate course requirements in the general studies. The use of such credits in majors, minors, or clusters will be determined in consultation with the appropriate department chair. There will be a maximum of 12 semester hours that can be used for the general studies requirements.
