Talent recognition awards available in art and design, music, and theatre. Freshman Fellowship: $1,000 in student employment; based on minimum high school 3.5 GPA and ACT 24. Dr. Edgar L. Harden Scholarship: based on minimum 3.5 GPA and ACT 24. National Academics Award: $2,000 per year to an unlimited number of non-Michigan residents; minimum 3.0 GPA and ACT 19. NMU Merit Excellence Award: awards $2,750 per year or $3,500 on campus; based on minimum 3.0 GPA and ACT 33. NMU Merit Award: $2,250 or $3,000 on campus; minimum 3.0 GPA and ACT 30-32. NMU Scholars Award: $1,250 or $2,000 on campus; minimum 3.0 GPA and ACT 27-29. NMU Outstanding Achievement: $750 or $1,500; minimum 3.0 GPA and ACT 25-26.
