Scholarship opportunities:
    Achievement Scholarships: $700-$1,200; demonstration of a significant life achievement. Vermont Scholarship: $1,000-$2,000; applicants who live in the state of Vermont. Bounder Scholarship: $30-$500; applicants who live west of the Mississippi or in the Deep South. Presidential Scholarship: $500-$5,000; applicants who have performed well academically, pursued some degree of activity in environmental, outdoor leadership, or resource management. SCA Award: $1,000; alumni of Student Conservation Association. Transfer Award: $1,000; transfer students for transfer costs. Environmental Steward Scholarship: full-tuition; awarded to a student who has displayed an exceptional commitment to the environment. Vermont Youth Conservation Corps Award: $1,000; awarded to alumni of the VYCC.
