  • Stevens Institute of Technology encourages advanced course work as part of a student's overall academic experience. Advanced Placement allows students the opportunity to challenge themselves and receive advanced standing if they successfully pass the AP Exam. Stevens recognizes most AP courses with a score of 4 or 5 on the corresponding exam. A complete list of course equivalents is located on our website.

  • Stevens' strong curriculum requires students to demonstate a high level of academic achievement while in high school. AP courses are an opportunity for students to challenge themselves and begin to experience the rigor they will encounter at Stevens.
